“Hope is still the name of the game.” Gail Halvorsen uttered these words fifty years after the start of the Berlin Airlift and Operation Little Vittles, when he was in Albania delivering supplies (and candy) to a Kosovar refugee camp. What inspired him to make this pronouncement? What did he mean by this?
